I follow and teach my children a blended path which embraces many different beliefs and cultures with out taking away from any. We are truly diverse family unit culturally honoring our Irish, Mexican, Native American, Czech Bohemian, and European backgrounds. Holidays are a hoot and you should see our buffet!
I follow an earth based esoteric Christian and Pagan path, yes you heard me. I go to church with mom on Christmas Eve and dance the spiral on Winter Solstice. This rich diversity infused with Native American (2 of my children are tribal members) , Mexican and Irish traditions has served us well, and there is always something to celebrate in our Turning Wheel.
I have walked the path of initiate and solitary, I have gone down the road of fully pagan and experienced fundamentalist Christianity. What I am left with is a folk tradition understanding of the Universe that honors all that I believe in currently in a comfortable and enriching way.
I have studied and walked this path since a teen and cherish every experience I have had, positive and negative have all taught me something. As, the Universe will when you allow her too.
My parenting style is as was to teach empathy, compassion, and tolerance for all living creatures. To learn about life through the cycles of nature and honor your own divine however you may find it.
For me spirituality and religion are not at all the same. Spirituality is how we come to know and understand our own divine. The means which we travel to be at one with that unknown source. For me, this a earth based and Christ centered path that lends to communicating with spirits and elements of our daily world that lay just beyond or conscious veil.
Like my eclectic spirituality, my life is an eclectic whirlwind of interests. I am a mom , an early childhood specialist, , Certified Aromatherapist, and Touch Massage Therapy and an Entrepreneur, a Writer and Cook , a costume designer for girls, and an all around crazy witchy mom!
This site if a portal for all eclectic activities, maybe you find something that interests you!
Mysticism and Christian esoteric is as old as Gnosis (secret knowledge of God) itself.
The Views of this Page are my own, and serve only as a resource to others. Through my Journey and Studies I have met and fused ideas with many others
For me, spirituality is not necessarily the same thing as religion. Spirituality has to do with Connection: Connection to our True Selves, Connection to other human beings, Connection to all creation, and Connection to the Divine. Religion has to do with our beliefs about what this Connection is all about and how we go about practicing it.
In reference to the subject of this Site, I would say that I am Christian in Tradition and I express and connect to myself, others, nature, and Divine by means of Mysticism and The Craft.
Imagine that the Divine is a vast Lake. Along the shore of this Vast Water are people, they have all come to drink from this Lake if Divinity. What would you see? What I see is many types of people, all with many types of vessels from which to draw their drink. I see some with ornate silver chalices engraved with Triple Moon symbol, I see others with Wooden Drinking cups, I see another with Golden Goblets, still more with Porcelain Vessels with Islamic Symbols, Some carry vessels carved of bamboo, some have no cups at all but rather on bent knees lap from the Lake of the Divine. All are at the Lake for sustenance and connection, and their different traditions determine which vessel they brought to collect from the Lake of Divinity.
My tradition is that of Christ, the History , stories, morals, and ceremonies of this tradition all contribute to my understanding of the Divine. I choose to express these traditions and connect by way of Earth, Moon, Sun, Stars, the Angels, the Turning of the Wheel and the Spark of Divine inside everyone who walks this Path called Earth.
